Luck Didn't Do It - God Did

St. Patricks' Day is often wrapped in talk of luck - four-leaf clovers, good fortune, and being in the right place at the right time. It's fun, lighthearted, and festive. But as believers, we know there's something deeper at work in our lives.

Because faith isn't lucky.

The blessings we walk in are not accidental. The doors that open, the strength we find on our hard days, the peace that carries us through uncertainty - none of it is by chance. It's God's hand at work, even when we don't fully understand it.

So often we look back and say, "That was lucky," when in reality, it was provision. It was protection. It was grace.

At Grit N Grace, we believe grit is the courage to keep trusting God when the path isn't clear. Grace is recognizing that He's been faithful all along - even in the waiting, even in the struggle.

Faith doesn't mean life is easy. It means we believe God is present in every season. It means trusting Him when prayers aren't answered the way we hoped. It means giving thanks not just for the blessings we see, but for the ones still unfolding.

St. Patrick himself was known for bold faith and unwavering trust in God, even in the face of hardship. His life reminds us that faith isn't about comfort - it's about obedience, courage, and believing God is bigger than the circumstances in front of us.

For this season, let's shift the narrative.

Instead of chasing luck, let's choose faith. Instead of hoping for chance, let's trust in purpose. Instead of saying, "I was lucky," let's say, "God was faithful."

Because He always is.

May this season be a reminder that what carries you isn't luck - it's grace. And what keeps you moving forward is grit, anchored in faith.
