Maintaining Faith in God

Often, we find ourselves hopeless, faithless, with our eyes on everything but God. Trust me, I get it. I suffer from anxiety and depression and have for years, mostly because so many earthly things have been on our minds instead of our Creator.
Faith and what it means:
Hebrews 11:1 states, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”. There is a reason and purpose for everything that happens in our lives. The trials and tribulations we go through are all apart of God’s plan for us. We may not understand the meaning of whatever we are going through but sometimes (more often than not) it takes us getting to the other side of that battle to understand what God has in store for us.
He is always with us:
2 Timothy 1:7 states, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” My parents often recited this verse to me and my brother growing up and I always go back to it when I feel any fear or anxiety. My parents also often reminded me that God will never throw anything at you that you can’t handle and that he always tests his strongest warrior’s faith.
We all go through challenges and trials and tribulations; it is what you make of that obstacle that God throws at you. Jesus was sent here to pay for our sins, and if he can make it through what he did to show his love for us the least we can do is turn to him when we are feeling afraid, anxious, or tempted to fall into temptation. Jesus went through so much for us, his back had no flesh, splinters on his spine, his head had thorns driven into his skull, his body weight made it difficult to breathe, every breath meant pain, nails driven through his hands and feet, they pierced his sides with a sword and so much more. God sent his son to earth to go through all of that to pay for our sins, everything is paid for so turn to him when you need him.
I say all of that to say this, at Grit N Grace we are all one big God fearing, faith tested family. Always remember he is only testing you because he believes in you and he is trying to prove the devil wrong. There is nothing we can’t handle with God living in our hearts after what he did for us. The apparel we sell is not just for money, its living our faith and hope for a better world made in his image day in and day out. If only one person sees these hats and apparel and learns about the love of Jesus Christ then our purpose and mission of this company has succeeded.
Philippians 4:13 - “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
